摘要
Evidence suggests that work-family conflict is associated with negative outcomes for both individuals and families, espe cially in terms of satisfaction. This study collected data on end-of-day experiences over 14 consecutive days from non professional couples and examined how stable family resources influenced the relationship between daily work-family conflict and daily job satisfaction. As expected, greater daily levels of work-family conflict were associated with lower daily job satisfaction. However, two family resources, money and status, buffered this negative relationship. In contrast, higher levels of family love strengthened the negative relationship between work-family conflict and job satisfaction. These findings have implications for developing family programs that promote work-family balance and mitigate the negative consequences of work-family conflict.
