Design of DDC Based on MVR CORDIC Algorithm and Implementation of FPGA

The realization methods of NCO(numerically controlled oscillator) and FIR filter based on FPGA are introduced.And the design of DDC(digital down converter) based on MVR CORDIC algorithm and the design and realization of DDC based on FPGA are given.The simulation results of DDC are given.And then the performance of DDC is analyzed.The test results show that the DDC can work reliably and stably with high speed in real time.The DDC proposed is already applied in S-band telemetry intermediate frequency digital receiver system.
