Abstract
An account is presented of particles and fields data recorded aboard the Criotto spacecraft during its individual encounters with P/Halley and P/Crrigg-Skjellerup. It is shown that differences identified between the profiles of the various records obtained at each comet may be attributed to (a) basic differences between the comets themselves and (b) differences in the interplanetary circumstances pertaining on each occasion.
