The observation of the efficacy for warming yang and strengthening spleen method combined with western medicine in the treatment of type 2 diabetic insulin resistance with yang deficiency syndrome

Objective To investigate the efficacy of warming yang and strengthening spleen method combined with western medicine in the treatment of type 2 diabetic insulin resistance with yang deficiency syndrome.Methods Forty five patients of type 2 diabetic insulin resistance with yang deficiency syndrome in our hospital from March 2010 to July 2012 were chosen as the control group,who treated by western medicine for treatment.45 cases over the same period using the warming yang and strengthening spleen method combined with western medicine for treatment were set as the observation group.The total efficiency of treatment and FBG,2hPG,ISI,FINS and 2hINS for the two groups before and after the treatment were compared.Results The total efficiency of the observation group was significantly higher than the control group.The FBG,2hPG FINS and 2hINS 4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment were lower than the control group,the ISI was higher than that in the control group,there were significant differences(P 0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy for warming yang and strengthening spleen method combined with western medicine in the treatment of type 2 diabetic insulin resistance with yang deficiency is superior to the effect of western medicine alone.
