Abstract
The resolution of the total absorption lead-glass counter was studied in a 25 GeV electron beam depending on the Cerenkov light collection conditions. It is shown that in the region of some tens of GeV and above small photomultipliers can be used in the counters covering only a small part of the radiator surface.
