Identification Of Ultrasonic Scanning Pictures Of Abdomen

Ultrasonic scanning of the abdomen has been proved a valuable supplement to radiographic and isotopic investigations. Interpretation of the scans depends on identification of the scanning planes, for which a new principle is outlined. This employs the transcristal plane as a reference plane, and makes it possible to characterize all sectional planes.
