The Magma Conduit System of Canada Voisey's Bay Ni-Cu-Co Sulfide Deposit——Representative Example of Small Intrusions Mineralization

The Voisey's Bay Intrusion(VBI) is located in the Mesoproterozoic Nain Plutonic Suite (NPS) in Labrador, Canada.The Voisey's Bay deposit is hosted in a 1.34 Ga intrusion composed of troctolite, olivine gabbro, and ferrogabbro.The Voisey's Bay Intrusion consists broadly of two intrusions—the outcropping heavily mineralized Eastern Deeps Intrusion and the buried Western Deeps Intrusion.These intrusions are possibly connected by a contemporaneous continuous variably mineralized dyke.There have many contemporaneous intrusions in the area of Voisey's Bay,Voisey's Bay Intrusion have the minimum volume and just the VBI developed in to a large-scaleNi-Cu-Co sulfide deposit,it is the representative example of small intrusions mineralization.
