Prevention and Handles of Mucous Membrane Breakeage in Maxillary Sinus Lifting

Objective To study the prevention and handles of mucous membrane breakage in maxillary sinus lifting.Methods One hundred and twenty-three maxillary sinuses underwent sinus lifting and simultaneously 206 implants placement among 101 maxillary sinuses.Results Mucous membrane breakage were found in 9 maxillary sinuses(9.4%),patched up instantly.Sixty one patients(63.5%) have been completed the restoration,the time of follow-up was 3-36 months,there were no implant loose or lost,the mastication function were normal.Conclusion The risk of mucous membrane breakage can be reduced by correctly preoperative evaluation and precise operation,even if mucous membrane breakage,the satisfactory effect can be got by appropriate measure.
