Abstract
The reduction of ash content of coal for injection into BF is of advantage to increase coal rate and decrease coke rate and hot metal cost.The triboelectrostatic beneficiation combined with preparation of pulverized coal to reduce ash content is reasonable.The triboelectrostatic beneficiation experiments have been done based on the research of floatability,dielectric constant and mineral components.The results show that coal properties,voltage and blast volume affect triboelectrostatic beneficiation very much.The ash content of coal can be dropped to 8% and the yield of beneficiated coal can be reached up to 87.57% by adjusting the voltage and blast volume properly.
