Conclusions NF-κB is activated in human gastric cancer in response to chemotherapy and may result in inducible chemoresistance. Inhibition of NF-κB by Ad.IκBα-SR enhances the antitumor effects of chemotherapy and has potential as a novel antineoplastic strategy.
