Correction Of Severe Crowding In The Upper And Lower Jaws With Invisalign (R) Considering The Gingival Margin

This case presents the orthodontic therapy of a 34-year-old woman with heavy crowding. The patient was treated with Invisalign (R) aligners based on the determinants of a standard orthodontic treatment. The demand of the patient was a nearly invisible technology. The orthodontic challenge was to solve the crowding, without degradation of the gingival recessions. This presented case shows that Invisalign (R) aligners offer nearly the same advantages in expanding the dental arches as selfligating systems.
