Effects of vehicle and road on traffic injury

[Objective]To explore effects of vehicle and road on traffic injury,and to provide feasible suggestions for its prevention and control.[Methods]The effects of vehicle and road on the 50 232 cases of road traffie injuries were compared and analyzed.[Results]Effects of vehicle and road accounted for 2% and 24% of all the RTI causes respectively.Moreover,RTI caused by mechanical failure,mini-vechicles,highest-grade roads and so on took the largest share.[Conclusions]Prevention of RTI should be focused on the improvement of technologies both of vehicle and road.
