Procedure Analysis of Replacing Plate Edge Cutting with Milling

The article analyzes the important of plated edge machined to quality of welded pipe,and introduces 4 kinds of on-line machining methods of plate edge.Through the analysis of on-line plate edge milling process,the article points out that the quality of milling procedure is better than cutting process,and milling process can increase the ratio of pipe/plate about 1%,also can creates good profits.With the developments of coil rolling technology,plate edge milling procedure shall be widely applied into the welded pipe production.
