Abstract
Polymerized rosin was prepared from Industrial-rosin with the catalyst sulfuric acid-zinc chloride under microwave irradiation.The best polymerizing conditions were got through the single factor test.The result indicated polymerized rosin 's optimum response conditions were as follow:the dosage of concentrated sulfuric acid was 20% of rosin,n(H2SO4)∶n(ZnCl2) =0.7,microwave power was 264 W and microwave irradiation time was 0.75 h.The average yield of product polymerized rosin with the average acid value 151.3 mg KOH · g(-1),the softening point 141.8 ℃,under these conditions was 87.0%.The quality indexes of polymerized rosin product reached national standards.
