Liquid Flow Neutron Monitor

摘要
A method for continuous monitoring of thermal neutron flux was developed using short lived activities produced by ( n , γ) reactions in a circulated liquid solution. It was tested satisfactorily for the neutron flux ranging from 10 6 to 10 8 n/cm 2 /sec produced either by the electron linac of ORC or by the atomic pile of JAERI. Used solutions were Rh 2 (SO 4 ) 3 , In(NO 3 ) 3 and AgNO 3 .
