The accuracy and utility of the dosimetry system used for radiation effects research with high energy protons at The Indiana University Cyclotron Facility, IUCF, has been confirmed by comparison with an independently calibrated Markus ion chamber, a Shulz water calorimeter and GAFCHROMICtm films.
