Rapid Determination of Ractopamine and Clenbuterol in Animal Urine with HPLC-MS/MS

The HPLC-MS/MS method was established to analyze ractopamine and clenbuterol in animal urine.The sample was purified and concentrated by SCX column,chromatographic conditions included a Kromasil CN column with the mobile phase of acetone-5 mmol/L ammonium acetate(65∶35,V/V).Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the ractopamine and clenbuterol which ionized by electrospray ionization interface(ESI) was carried on through MRM mode.There was a good linear correlation in the range of 1.0~500.0 μg/L(r0.999).The recoveries ranged from 89.7% to 103.3% at the add concentration level of 0.5,4.0,40.0,80.0,200.0 μg/L.The RSD was between 2.0% and 7.8%.Its limit of detection was 0.1 μg/L.
