Proceedings of the 2008 AOSD workshop on Aspects, components, and patterns for infrastructure software

Welcome to the 8th Workshop on Aspects, Components, and Patterns for Infrastructure Software -- ACP4IS '09. This year's workshop continues its tradition of providing a highly interactive forum for researchers and developers to discuss the application of and relationships between aspects, components, and patterns within modern infrastructure software. The goal is to put aspects, components, and patterns into a common reference frame and to build connections between the software engineering and systems communities. The call for papers attracted 10 submissions from Asia, Europe, and the United States. The program committee accepted 8 papers that covered a variety of topics.
