Unifocal eosinophilic granuloma (Langerhans cell histiocytosis) of the supratemporal orbital bone in an adult

Langerhans cell histiocytosis is rare and can be categorized into three forms on the basis and extent of organ involvement: eosinophilic granuloma, Hand-Schuller-Christian disease, and Letterer Siewe disease. We present a go-year-old patient with an isolated eosinophilic granuloma arising from the supratemporal orbital bone and manifesting as a space-occupying orbital lesion. Langerhans cell histiocytosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of orbital tumors in both children and adults.
