Abstract
An elasticity method is developed to study the bending and free vibration of simply supported angle-ply laminated cylindrical panels in cylindrical bending. The bonding between any two adjacent layers is assumed to be either perfect or imperfect. For the imperfect bonding, a general spring-layer model is adopted. The present analysis is completely based on the state-space formulations, which is very effective for laminated structural analysis. Numerical results are finally presented and the effect of interfacial bonding imperfections on the statics and dynamics of the cylindrical panel is discussed.
