摘要

A shower detector consisting of two optically coupled BGO crystals, 5 × cm2 each, was tested with an electron beam in the energy range from 150 to 700 MeV. The BGO resolution obtained for high-energy electromagnetic showers is found to be equivalent to that of NaI.
