Crossover behavior in the scaling law of type-II intermittency

The scaling law for the mean laminar length of type-II intermittency is generally described in connection with the reinjection distribution and the characteristic parameter length. Its exponent is mainly classified into four categories according to the parameter region, although it exhibits the continuous transition from -1 to 0. The scaling relations so far provided by Pomeau and Manneville and by Argoul et al. etc. may be well interpreted within the present category.
