摘要
Background: Macrolide-resistant Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MRMP) has become an emerging respiratory pathogen in worldwide. Mutation of A2063G in domain V of the 23S rRNA gene was associated with this resistance. In this study, we reported the prevalence of MRMP in a private hospital based in Hong Kong from 2013 to 2016, using a laboratory-developed real-time PCR (LDPCR) which detected the A2063G mutation.
