Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present the project LOCCANDIA as a promising nano-technological application in the medical-proteomics for early pancreatic cancer detection. LOCCANDIA stands for Lab-On-Chip based protein profiling for CANcer DIAgnosis and it is collaborative and multidisciplinary effort that aims to integrate a f ull proteomic analysis chain from blood sample to diagnosis infor mation using innovative technologies .
