Letter to the Editor: Sequence Analysis of a Neuropathogenic Variant of Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus ts 1: Evidence for Recombination

The nucleotide sequence of the complete genome of ts 1, a neuropathogenic variant of Moloney murine leukemia virus, has been determined. Although it is possible that the genome of ts 1 accumulated point mutations during reverse transcription, our results now indicate that some of these mutations may have resulted from recombination.
