Clinical observation of oxaliplatin plus calcium folinate,fluorouracil and pirarubicin in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer

Objective To study the clinical efficacy and toxicity of L-OHP plus CF,5-Fu and THP in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer.Methods All patients were treated with iv instillation of L-OHP 130 mg/(m2·d) for two hours on the first day,CF 200 mg/(m2·d) for two hours from the first day to the fifth day,5-Fu 500 mg/(m2·d) for four hours from the first day to the fifth day,and THP 45 mg/(m2·d)iv infusion on the first day,three weeks as one cycle,Results Of 32 cases of advanced gastric cancer,5 achieved CR and 12 PR,with response rate(CR+PR)of 53.1%.The Karnofsky improvement rate was 68.8%.The main toxic side effects included myelosuppression,alimentray tract reaction and neuropathy,but grade-Ⅲ leukopenia was found only in 3 cases,grade-Ⅲ alimentray tract reaction was only in 1 case.Conclusion This study showed that the chemotherapy with L-OHP combined with 5-Fu/CF and THP was effective in treatment of advanced gastric cancer with mild toxicity,and could improve the life quality of the patients.It is deserved to be investigated further.
