Study on Population Prediction of the Overall Land Use Planning Based on GIS

Population prediction was important basis for the establishment of overall land use planning.Based on the GIS and combined with the overall land use planning of Xiantao City in Hubei Province,the natural growth model,double linear model and labor force balance model were all used to predict the population of target age in Zhanggou by the MapGIs,Matlab and other softwares.
