Abstract
Objective To explore main risk factors of readmission in patients with Chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods FromSeptember 2007 toMay2010,the data of1012 inpatients and outpatients with CHF in our hospital were analyzed retrospectively with single factor and multifactor logistic regression analysis, including generral conditions, personal history, past history, clinical manifestation, and therapeutic measures. Results The readmission rate of CHF patients was high. The results of single factor logistic regression analysis showed that cultural background, the number of accompanying families, history of valvular heart disease, history of myocardial infarction, high salt diet, using salt solution during respiratory infection, plan before discharge, and visiting rate in department of cardiology had statistical difference between experiment group and group(P 0.05).The results of multifactor logistic regression analysis showed that high salt diet and using salt solution during respiratory infection was positively correlated with readmission(ORA72=4.982,95%CI=3.562~6.969 ORA74 =1.510,95% CI =1.128 ~2.023) ;well-plan before discharge was negatively correlated with readmission(OR=0.290,95%CI=0.197~0.425).Conclusion High salt diet and using salt solution during respiratory infections are readmission risk factors of CHF patients,well-plan before discharge is readmission protective factor of CHF patients.
