In minority of renal transplants it is inevitable to perform reconstructive vascular procedures during the renal allograft implantation. Those procedures have been considered a relative contraindication due to increased incidence of vascular complications. In this study, we prospectively evaluated vascular grafts interposition procedures in renal allograft implantation and their impact on renal transplant outcome.
