Cryptates
Endeavour(1971)
摘要
A range of newly discovered complexing agents, both naturally occurring and synthetic, have the surprising property of making alkali metal salts soluble in non-polar solvents such as chloroform. They act by wrapping themselves round the metal ion and by this means effectively ‘hide’ it from the solvent. Because of this mode of action the complexes have been called cryptates.
