Abstract
In order to solve the problem of air material inventory optimization and to achieve computer management, It takes the quantity of wasting civil aircraft tires in a longer period as an example, a conclusion is drawn that the tire consumption can be considered as a random process. In theory, use the SPSS and MATLAB tools to analyze many testing data's distribution and interdependency, which different in computing cycles. The results show that the process of wasting tires can be viewed as independent Poisson process in engineering. When the calculating cycle (in fact, the tire's repairing cycle) is large, the process can be considered as independent normal random process. Through the comparative analysis of different average variance and optimal average inventory, it can be concluded that taking the measure of reducing the average variance of inventory can decrease the overall cost.
