Design of Computer Board Test System for Armored Vehicle

Abstract
To solve the maintenance problems of computer board in armored vehicle, the internal structure and interface relationship of computer board are analyzed, and a fault testing system of the motherboard is designed. Firstly, by using basic principles of the Power On Self-Test (POST), hardware circuit acquiring POST result is made in order to test fault of the motherboard. Secondly, the simulation cards are designed so as to test fault of peripheral devices in the motherboard. Thirdly, by using expert system, the auxiliary maintenance suggestions are provided. The application results indicate that the proposed system can point out fault location and solve maintenance problems after the motherboard hardware failure.
