Design of an interactive object audio system for cloud-based consumer devices

Recently, high performance smart-phones support various cloud-based multimedia services and many consumers use an interactive audio service, which independently controls mixing ratio of objects to compose an individual music. In this reason, many researches are being carried out to provide a user interaction with object audio system. However, current object audio systems are not suitable for cloud-based consumer devices (CBCD) because it does only have information fields for multiple audio track and group information for audio tracks. In this paper, we propose an object-oriented architecture for interactive object audio system (IOAS) that support interactive object audio file format with the scene description (SD), CBCD access protocol and cloud-based infrastructure management (CBIM) module. The CBCD and CBIM are designed based on virtualization.
