Abstract
Using DEM (digital elevation model) data of 1:250,000 and temperature data of 68 weather stations in Fujian Province, based on the geography and cLimate equation that formed of longitude, latitude, altitude and annual extreme minimum temperature, the annual extreme minimum temperature was fine simulated by the factor of distance to the coastLine. Then the simulated results were amended by the topographic factors of slope and aspect. The distribution characteristics of the featured fruit trees (longan, Litchi, Chinese oLives) to avoid freezing was gotten combined with the freezing index in Fujian Province. The results showed that: The simulation of extreme minimum temperature is better because of the fusion from the factor of distance to the coastLine. The distribution characteristics of freezing level of the featured fruit trees are affected by the higher degree of geographical factors. The results correspond with the actual situation.
