I am an ecosystem ecologist, environmental scientist, and geographer. I study the drivers and impacts of climate change, with a current focus on greenhouse gas emissions and land cover land use changes. I conduct interdisciplinary research that bridges ecology, atmospheric chemistry, geography, environment and sustainability, planning and policy, and public health. My research approaches using both data-driven and process-based approaches that combine both geospatial big data (i.e., remote sensing) and field measurements.
