个人简介
I work at the Department of Geology and Geological Engineering of the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering, University of Zagreb (RGNF).
I am a lecturer on the following courses: "Environmental Geology" (undergraduate study "Geological Engineering"); "Water Protection" (graduate study "Mining"); "Groundwater protection", "Behaviour of pollutants in groundwater", "Environmental Monitoring" (graduate study "Geological Engineering");"Mathematical modelling of pollutant transport in groundwater systems", "Concepts of groundwater protection and restoration" (“Doctoral study of applied geosciences, mining and petroleum engineering”); "Groundwater Protection" (University Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Specialist Study Program "Eco engineering").
I was the principal investigator on the FP7 scientific project GENESIS (2009-2014): “Groundwater and dependent Ecosystems: NEw Scientific basIS on climate change and land-use impacts for the update of the EU Groundwater Directive” (FP7-ENV- 2008-1, GA No. 226536). I was a Croatian national expert and leader of the international working group "Legal and Institutional Framework and Policy" in the implementation of the
international project: "Protection and Sustainable Use of the Dinaric Karst Aquifer System (DIKTAS)", under the auspices of GEF-UNDP-UNESCO (from 2011 to 2015).
I was the leader of about thirty professional projects in the field of hydrogeology.
From the 1st October 2013 to 30th September 2017, I was Dean of RGNF, and from 1st October 2017 to 30th September 2019, I was acting Dean of RGNF.
From 2006 to 2011, I was the President of the Croatian Water Pollution Control Society (HDZV). I am still the member of the Management Board of the HDZV.
From 2007 to 2013, I was the member of the European Technical Scientific Committee (ETSC) of the European Water Association (EWA). From 2011 to 2015, I was the member of the EWA Council.
