个人简介
Zi-Wei Zheng received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees (Hons.) in electrical and communication engineering from Dalian Maritime University, Dalian, China, in 1997, 2000, and 2003, respectively.
From 2002 to 2005, he was with the State Key Laboratory on Microwave and Digital Communications, and the Electronics Engineering Department, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, first as a Senior Researcher, next as a Post-Doctoral Associate Research Fellow. He was a Professor with Dalian Maritime University from 2005 to 2008. He was a Yong-Jiang Scholar of the Ningbo Municipal People’s Government, and the Chair Professor with Ningbo University from 2008 to 2019. He is currently the Chair Professor and the President of the Digital Industry Research Institute, Zhejiang Wanli University, Ningbo, China. He is also the Director of the Engineering Research Center of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government, the Engineering Research Center of Ningbo Municipal People’s Government, and the Collaborative Innovation Center of Ningbo Municipal People’s Government. He has served as a Principal Investigator on more than 30 research grants (e.g., the National Science and Technology Major Project of China). His research interests include wireless communication theory and communication systems design, technology and application of the Internet of Things and big data, circuit integration, and devices.
Dr. Zheng is also a fellow of IET. He received the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award of Liaoning Province, the Excellent Post-Doctoral Award of Tsinghua University, the 2006 Science And Technology Progress Award of Liaoning Province, the 2007 and 2008 Natural Science Academic Achievement Award of Liaoning Province, the 2009 National Science and Technology Progress Award of China, the 2010 and 2013 Science and Technology Progress Award of Zhejiang Province, the 2019 and 2020 Science and Technology Progress Award of China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing, and several other best paper awards.
