Zhipeng Zhang received the Diploma degree in physics from the Universität Leipzig, Leipzig, Germany, in 2009. The thesis was entitled “Studies of space charge regions in zinc oxide Schottky contacts.” He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in the Group of Prof. Grundmann. His research interests include the investigation of electric and optoelectronic properties on metal-semiconductor-metal ultraviolet photodiodes based on (Mg,Zn)O thin films grown by pulsed-laser deposition.
