Male, doctor, professor, doctoral tutor.
He is the deputy director of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Zhejiang University, the deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Computer Aided Design and Graphics at Zhejiang University, and the deputy director of the Institute of Design Engineering and Automation of Zhejiang University.
His main research areas are digital intelligent design and manufacturing; digital prototyping, digital twinning and virtual reality; new methods for 3D/4D printing; industrial robots; machine vision, machine learning and engineering applications.
As the person in charge, he has presided over a number of scientific research projects commissioned by the national, provincial and ministerial level, national defense military and important enterprises, such as the 973 Project, the National Natural Science Foundation Project, and the Zhejiang Provincial Key Research and Development Program. The first author and the correspondent author ASME Journal of Mechanical Design, Robotics and Computer-Integrated Manufacturing, Mechanism and Machine Theory and other international authoritative journals published many papers, published two books on "Digital Prototype" and "Intelligent Manufacturing"; won the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, The National Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, the Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Progress First Prize, and the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Special Award.
Selected as the first level training personnel of the 151 talent project in Zhejiang Province.
