Zheng Tian

Zheng Tian received the M.Sc. degree in applied mathematics from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi'an, China, in 1969. She is currently a Professor in the School of Science, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and a member of the Chinese Statistical Association. She was invited to conduct cooperative research in the Department of Statistics, Technical University of Dortmund, Germany, and the Department of Statistics and Actuarial, University of Hong Kong. She has taken charge of more than twelve research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Aeronautical Science Foundation of China. She has published over 127 scientific papers in the international journals and conferences on image processing. Her current research interests are in the areas of remote sensing image processing and time series analysis.
