Bio
Zhao-Hua Liu (Senior Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree in computer science and engineering and the Ph.D. degree in automatic control and electrical engineering from the Hunan University, Changsha, China, in 2010 and 2012, respectively. From 2015 to 2016, he was a Visiting Researcher with the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering, The University of Sheffield, Sheffield, U.K. He is currently a Professor of automatic control and systems with the School of Information and Electrical Engineering, Hunan University of Science and Technology, Xiangtan, China. He has authored or coauthored more than 50 research papers in refereed journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions/Journal/Magazine. He is a regular reviewer for several international journals and conferences. His current research interests include intelligent information processing and control of wind turbines, computational intelligence and learning algorithms design, machine learning aided fault diagnosis and prognosis, parameter estimation and control of permanent-magnet synchronous machine drives, and fault diagnosis based intelligent operations and maintenance for electric power equipment.
