Bio
Zerui Dong (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the China University of Petroleum, Qingdao, Shandong, China, in 2013, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Auburn University, Auburn, AL, USA, in 2015 and 2019, respectively. From July 2019 to September 2019, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Auburn University. He is currently working with OPAL-RT Corporation, USA, as a Power Electronics Simulation Engineer. His research interest includes applications of real-time simulations and hardware-in-the-loop for energy systems research, and pumped storage hydropower dynamic modeling and integration.
