Bio
Dr. Zainab Masood is an Assistant Professor of Software Engineering in Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia. Before that, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Software Engineering Global Interaction Lab (SEGAL) in the Department of Computer Science, University of Victoria, Canada and Human Aspects of Software Engineering Lab (HASEL), University of Auckland, New Zealand. She also worked as a Professional Teaching Fellow at the University of Auckland from where she also received her Ph.D. She is a prolific Software Engineering Researcher. Her research focuses on software development methods and practices, and human-centered software engineering. She is also an experienced Software Engineering Educator, having taught Software Engineering courses at the University of Auckland. In addition, she has a rich industrial experience of working in various multinational software development companies as a Software Developer, Tester, and Quality Expert that makes her a balanced and rounded academic.
