Bio
Dr. Yunus Dogan is a professor in Ecology in Izmir, Turkey. He received his PhD degree in Plant Ecology from Dokuz Eylul University in 1999. His major research areas are based on Plant Ecology and Ethnobotany, acting on the following subjects: ethnobiology, medicinal plants, wild edible plants, ethnology of Balkan minorities, edaphic factors, soil-plant relations, trace elements, and biomonitoring, etc. He has participated in over than fifty international conferences, seminars, congresses, symposia and international forums around the world. In these activities, he has delivered the invited speeches, oral and poster presentations. He is a member of the editor/editorial board more than ten international journals and reviewer of more than forty international journals and external thesis reviewer of some Pakistan and South African Universities. He has published over a hundred peer-reviewed journal articles and 9 chapters, and one edited book. More than a hundred articles in journals indexed in Web of Science/h-index 22/1009 citations, in SCOPUS/h-index 22/1101 citations, Google Scholar/h-index 27/2137 citations.
