1. Graphene Photonics: Graphene fabrication, Graphene mode locking and Q-switching laser, nonlinear optical effects in graphene
2. Laser developments: Diode pumped solid state laser, Doped pumped fibre laser, Q-switched, tunable laser. Amplified Spontaneous Emission fibre light sources.
3. Laser applications: Laser material processing, Laser surgery.
4. Medical imaging and sensing: Dental imaging for early caries detection, Dental pH mapping.
