Bio
Yuwei Liao was born in Shanghai, China, in 1973. She received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, in 1996, the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Fudan University, Shanghai, in 1999, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Duke University, Durham, NC, in 2001 and 2005, respectively.
She was a Research Engineer with Summus Inc., Raleigh, NC, from 2001 to 2006. She is currently a Senior Staff Engineer-Software with Sony Ericsson Mobile Communication, Inc., Research Triangle Park, NC. Her research interests include digital signal processing and signal detection.
