Bio
Yoshitaka Masutani (M'02) received the B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees for his biomedical imaging research on vascular structure analysis in precision machinery engineering from The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan.
Since 2001, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Department of Radiology, The University of Tokyo Hospital, and the Division of Biomedical Engineering Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo, where he directs the Image Computing and Analysis Laboratory (UTRAD/ICAL). His research interests cover broad areas of computer vision, graphics, and image processing for biomedical imaging, especially for diffusion MRI analysis, computerized detection, and computer-assisted intervention.
