Bio
Yoshiko Ogawa received the Ph.D. degree (Doctor of Science) from the
University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 2002.
She has been an Assistant Professor with the Research Center for Advanced Information Science and Technology (CAIST),
The University of Aizu, Aizu-Wakamatsu, Japan, since 2009. She is interested in morphology and mineralogy of terrestrial
planets, especially Mars and Moon; deep space exploration programs; remote sensing of planetary surfaces for
understanding the environment and its evolution; and computational study (data analysis and numerical simulation) to
understand the physical processes, especially focusing on Martian hydrology.
