Bio

Yonggan Yan (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in mechanical design manufacturing and automation and the M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Yanshan University, Hebei, China, in 2018 and 2021, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China. He has published three refereed journal articles and conference papers. He researches on master–slave systems for remote surgical robots, and biomedical applications of surgical robots.
