Yifan Wang

I am a graduate student researcher working on my Ph.D. in Vlachos group. I am interested in building data-driven models and harnessing machine learning tools to increase our knowledge about chemical engineering. My thesis work focuses on first-principle modeling of single-atom catalysts, which are promising next-generation catalysts for automotive emission control. By applying data analytics and machine learning algorithms, I wish to understand their dynamics under reactions conditions and discover new materials for experimental screening.
